Welcome to the Brontë Bus web site.

The Brontë Bus ran in service in Haworth in 1924 serving the local community which often included livestock groceries and the main clients the mill workers who travelled to Oxenhope and Haworth to work in the many Woollen mills.

The company ran the local service until 1955 then diversified running day trips to seaside locations which were poplar for the local people

In 1981 the company folded due to various pressures
